| Q: | What is a Concierge Service? |
| A: |
A concierge service is designed to provide assistance in managing daily personal and professional tasks. Our services aim to improve our client's personal and professional lives by giving them back time to focus on the things they need to do - or would prefer to do. We operate as our client's own personal concierge/assistant. If you need help with it, we can find a way to make it happen... from simple to extraordinary we can make anything happen for you! | Q: | How does your service work? |
| A: |
My services allow Four Star Concierge Service representatives to act as your liaison; whether that be as your personal assistant in running errands and shopping, serving as your personal representative in home/auto repair matters, aiding as your on-hand personal travel agent or event planner, even serving as your agent in coordinating or mediating large home improvement projects. What we offer is the chance for you to have a trusted "right arm" day and night assistant, that learns and acts on your philosophies and decision making choices, so that you may excel in areas that matter more in life. Some clients wish to achieve balance in their day-to-day efforts, others wish for us to take over a larger part of what is holding them back. How much you delegate is up to you, but in any case what you get back in reward is time…and in many cases even money. Instead of eating out every day, you could be enjoying fresh, healthy meals or groceries in your home. Instead of procrastinating on repairs or projects around the home, you can act on them before they need more attention... and enjoy their completion sooner. Instead of looking at a number of things in life as a hassle or a time-consuming effort, you can look forward to each day with productive results. Imagine your life without a to-do list, without weekend chores, and without ever waiting in line or on hold again. [ Back to Top ] |

| Q: | How much do your services cost? |
| A: |
Although working with a personal concierge is like having your very own personal assistant at your beck and call, surprisingly it's more affordable than you might think. Established clients also enjoy intangible perks and occasional concessions. We have per hour, per service, and daily/monthly plans. Basic rate information is available under the Rates heading on our main menu. Most clients find that customizing a package plan gives them more for their money. Please call us to discuss the best arrangement for you. [ Back to Top ] |
| Q: | How do I pay for your services? |
| A: |
You may pay for assistance services by the hour or choose a suitable ongoing package/program, depending on what best suits your needs. We accept most major credit cards, checks, and cash. Payment is required as services are rendered or according to the terms and conditions upon use. Please give us a call for a complimentary consultation. [ Back to Top ] |
| Q: | Are services offered only in town? |
| A: |
Most of my services can be arranged nationwide. Although comprehensive services are offered in Austin, Denver, and Seattle, we have a network of vendors and personal contacts allowing us to provide services in nearly any major city. Please contact us to discuss your needs if you live outside the Austin/Denver/Seattle metro area so that we may discuss suitable assistance. [ Back to Top ] |
| Q: | How do I make requests? |
| A: |
We accept requests via telephone, email, or web inquiry. We require a minimum of 24 hours to coordinate and complete most service requests, and will accommodate requests as quickly as possible. We will do our utmost to accommodate emergency requests, although an additional service fee may be assessed at time of payment. [ Back to Top ] |
| Q: | What are your service hours? |
| A: |
Our general operation hours are: Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 7:00PM and weekends by appointment. Event coordination is handled seven days a week. [ Back to Top ] |
| Q: | What is a Concierge Deposit Account? |
| A: |
Your Concierge Deposit Account is a way of depositing funds for the goods or services of others (purchases, repair services, and other expenses not related to our fees) to be held by Four Star Service in trust to you. Similar to a personal savings account or prepaid gift card, you may deposit funds in a separate account for use towards your ancillary expenses. A statement is provided each month for your record. Some clients prefer to provide a separate credit card or prepaid bank card, so that they may track expenses on their own (and to earn any reward or mileage points). [ Back to Top ] |
| Q: | Do I pay the vendors? |
| A: |
Yes. Our vendor and teaming partners will bill our clients separately for their services/parts/labor. You may pay through your Concierge Deposit Account, a credit card on file with Four Star Service, or choose to leave a payment method with your concierge representative at the time services are scheduled to be performed. | Q: | Why do you need my card code? |
| A: |
Mail order, telephone order, and other "card-not-present" transactions have higher fraud rates than face-to-face transactions. To help reduce fraud in the card-not-present environment, credit card companies have introduced a card code program. The card code is a three- or four-digit security code that is typically printed on the back of cards inside the signature panel, or in the case of American Express cards it is atop the end of the account number on the front of the card. This program helps validate that a genuine card is being used during a transaction. Most major bank cards, both credit and debit, were required to contain card codes no later than 2001.
